2. Assess Business potential

Decide if you are selling a product or a service

1. Articulate why your product or service meets the customer needs from exercise 4.
2. If your product or service meets the needs of the customers, go to Step 3.
3. If your product or service does not meet the needs of the customers, go back to Exercise 1. Use what you learned to improve your product or service offering.
4. Identify or note government requirements or policies that are important to running your business (e.g., Are there import or export restrictions or incentives? Are there limits or incentives for developing or providing certain services). Identify solutions to any issues.
